Hello and welcome.

I’m Clara — the person behind Chaia Wellbeing.

I was named with a “C” after my great-grandfather Chaim, meaning "Life" or "Alive." Chaia is the feminine form of that name.

Chaia Wellbeing is still new, and my intention is to gradually grow this into a space for gatherings, workshops, and retreats — all in service of helping us feel more fully alive.

The anchor of that aliveness is unplugging from the digital and returning to analog reality. I don’t think technology is evil (obviously, I’m writing this on a computer and reaching you through the interwebz), but I'm passionate about finding a healthier relationship with it. Our collective screen addiction is harming our brains, our bodies, and our planet.

I believe we live in an unbalanced world with too much productivity and screen time, and we have lost touch with the healing wonders of presence and simplicity. Whether you’re struggling with burnout, overwhelm, grief, loneliness, or just feeling curious about connecting with yourself and others in a nourishing way… Chaia Wellbeing is for you.

I’m half Swedish, half American, and my journey has been full of contrasts. I spent much of my life in theatre and music — creating, performing, and teaching — until I found myself in a career transition toward writing and psychology.

I hold a BFA in Theatre with a minor in Religion from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where I graduated with scholarship and honors. For over a decade, I’ve also been deeply dedicated to the study and practice of somatics, holistic health, inter-spiritual mysticism, and mindfulness meditation, which, along with my artistic roots, informs my work here at Chaia Wellbeing.
